[You can also substitute paneer with Tofu]

Ingredients

  1. Heat one teaspoon oil in pan and saute onion pieces, and add ginger and garlic . Cook for few couple of minutes. Puree the mix and in food processor and keep aside.
  2. Cut Paneer in small cubes. In a pan saute the paneer for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Drain on a plate lined with a paper napkin.
  4. soak it in warm water. This helps to keep the paneer soft. (You could also use raw paneer.)
  5. Puree together tomatoes and cashews and keep aside.
  6. Heat oil in pan and add cinnamon sticks and pureed onion mix and saute, add red chilli powder, and cumin powder and saute for another minute.
  7. Add cream and cashew-tomato puree and Cook on high heat till oil leaves the masala.
  8. Finally add paneer cubes and bring it to a boil .
  9. Serve hot with Roti or Paranthas. Enjoy
