Peanut Chutney

Peanut Chutney is made with peanuts, curry leaves and chillies, really simple to make and very tasty and flavorful.



  • 1/2 Peanuts dry roasted
  • 1 tablespoon curry leaves
  • 6 Whole dry red chillies( lal mirch)
  • Salt to taste
  • 1 teaspoon oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds(sarson)

Cooking direction

In a pan roast the peanuts, blend all the ingredients (except oil and mustard seeds) into a smooth paste. Heat oil and add mustard and 1 red chilli, when it starts crackling, pour the tadka (seasoning) to the chutney.

Note: This chutney goes exceptionally well with all sabudana recipes; you can also try this one with plain rice or spread it over the bread and eat.
