Achari Aloo (potatoes)

Achari Aloo is a spicy, tangy potato dry dish with lot of flavors. This weekend came across baby potatoes in Indian stores and remembered this recipe mom use to make. Baby potatoes are much tastier than their adult counterparts. When coupled with some spicy, tangy ingredients they can render a very classic taste. Achari Aloo takes its name from the spices which are usually used to make pickles. Potatoes are hot favorite in my house, and in general over the years I have observed that any potato recipe especillay dry roasted crispy kinds are very popular all around the world.

Best served with tadka dal, rice and roti.
