Chole Bhature
Chole bhature is a combination of chole (spicy chick peas) and fried bread called bhatura,  typically a  punjabi dish is enjoyed in northern part of India. Served with pickle and onions. Chole bhature is served in most of the Indian restaurants.

Ingredients
- 2 Cups unbleached self rising flour
- 1 cup yogurt
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoon Oil
- 1 can Garbanzo beans/ Chick peas (kabuli chana)
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic minced
- 1/2 teaspoon ginger grated
- 1 small onion chopped finely
- 1 medium Tomato pureed
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika (red chilli powder)
- 1/2 teaspoon Garam Masala
- 2-3 bay leaves
- 1/2 teaspoon coriander Powder
Instructions
- Take yeast and soak in lukewarm water for 5-10 minutes / mix flour, salt, oil,yogurt and yeast and make a soft dough. keep aside for 2 hours, the longer kept, softer it gets.
- Heat, 2 teaspoon oil in a pan, add cumin seeds bay leaves and minced garlic. Saute it till its starts to get brown.
- Add onion, ginger paste, and all dry spices and saute for few minutes.
- Add tomato puree and chickpeas stir it well. add salt and a cup of water and cook in simmer for 15- 20 minutes. alternately you could pressure cook the chickpea mix for 10 minutes.
- Garnish choley with cilantro, thinly sliced long pieces of onion and a piece of lemon wedges.
- Heat oil in the pan, Roll it round or oval shape do not make it too thin.
- Gently drop it it hot oil. Stir it lightly to help it puff up. Fry like poori till both sides are golden brown.
Serve it hot with onions and pickle
