  1. Soak moong dal in warm water for 30-45 mins. When it's properly soaked, grind it to form a smooth paste. Make sure that the paste is not over grinded.
  2. Now add salt, green chili, cumin, cilantro, black pepper, onion and semolina flour(Sooji). Mix well (add water if required)l. Make the vada of medium size or as per your liking.
  3. Heat oil in a skillet and deep fry the vadas till they are golden brown in color.
  4. Serve it Hot with Chutney. Tomato Chutney makes a great combination. Enjoy
